Main Library Resources

Membership with the Crook County Library gives you access to a variety of valuable resources including exclusive online databases. These databases include millions of newspaper and magazine articles, legal publications, podcasts, reference books, small business resources, detailed health and wellness information, educator's reference materials, and a multitude of student research resources. Of particular interest to legal researchers is the LegalTrac database which is described below.

How to apply for a Crook County Library card? Library cards can be obtained at the Crook County main library at the location listed below.  If you are a resident of Crook, Deschutes, or Jefferson County there is no membership fee. If you reside outside the boundaries of these counties, a fee of $36.00 is charged per borrower card. For more details on library membership click here

LegalTrac Database

LegalTrac is a specialized legal research database which requires membership to the Crook County main library for access. This database features a comprehensive collection of major legal publications including more than 1,500 major law reviews, legal newspapers, specialty publications, Bar Association journals, and international legal journals.
