Crook County Public Health Nurse II Position
$44,489.78 - $54,128.62

Position will provide clinical nursing services to health department clients.  The clinical services include immunizations, family planning, HIV Counseling and Testing, infection check exams, communicable disease follow-up, basic lab tests and blood draws, and other clinical services as needed. The position is a fulltime clinical position in a variety of programs. Bachelor’s degree in nursing with experience in public/community health preferred, but not required.  The applicant must hold a current Oregon Registered Nurse Licensure, and a current Oregon driver’s license. Finance Manager
Salary Range:  $48,427 to $52,378 DOE

WEBCO is an intergovernmental entity created through agreements between Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties.  WEBCO serves on behalf of the public health, behavioral health and early learning programs for the Tri-County area. 

This position is responsible for developing and managing the budget and fiscal accounting of WEBCO.  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of three years of accounting experience; some experience in a governmental organization preferred.  Work location is at the WEBCO office in Redmond, but requires frequent travel throughout the Tri-County area.

Senior Mental Health Specialist (2 positions to be hired)
$53,390 to $75,879 DOE

WEBCO is an intergovernmental entity created through agreements between Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties.  WEBCO serves on behalf of the public health, behavioral health and early learning programs for the Tri-County area.  

These positions are responsible for the engagement of community partners in the fields of geriatrics, disability mental health, and addiction services in promoting and creating positive collaboration towards the end of reducing gaps in service coverage to community members eligible for entitlements from multiple community agencies.  Requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely allied field and prefer 5 years of experience in mental health or aging/disabilities with emphasis on geriatric/older adult care.  Work location is at the WEBCO office in Redmond, but requires frequent travel throughout the Tri-County area.  

These positions are grant funded on a biennium basis through funding from OHA.  Final hiring of positions is dependent on receipt and approval of contract/funding.

Position Overview: 
Responsible for leading the Human Resources function for Crook County.  Creates HR plans to maximize and maintain core functions, which include: compensation, performance management, recruitment and selection, policy and procedure development, training and development and regulatory compliance.
 
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, related degree or progressively responsible Human Resources, with six years of progressive Human resources generalist experience. Extensive knowledge or work experience in employment laws and regulations, disciplinary practices and grievance handling required. Must possess intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Applications and HRIS systems.

Preferred qualifications:
PHR/SPHR and public sector experience preferred.
