  Immunizations

Immunization clinics are held every Monday 8:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm-4:00pm on a walk-in basis no appointment needed.  Please bring your immunization record and insurance information with you to the clinic. 

The Crook County Health Dept. offers:

  • Childhood and adult immunizations
  • Flu and pneumonia vaccinations
  • Travel vaccinations (limited)
  • TB testing evaluations and treatment
  •  Hepatitis vaccine and titers


What shots does Oregon require?

Vaccines protecting against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella are required before a child's second birthday. It is recommended that you bring your child to the doctor at age 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, and between 15 and 18 months (five visits), so that he or she can get the all of the following required shots:

  • 1 vaccination against measles/mumps/rubella (MMR)
  • 3 vaccinations against polio
  • 4 vaccinations against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (DTP)
  • 1 vaccination against varicella (chickenpox)
  • 3 hepatitis B

For children under 60 months (5 years) of age, 4 vaccinations against haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), a major cause of spinal meningitis, are also required.
